The Electrical Section offers a full range of professional-level electrical design experience in support of University construction and renovation projects. We administer the Design & Construction Standards and the Capital Project Design Document Review programs. The Electrical Section manages the endowed electrical utility enterprise and provides technical supervision over the medium voltage distribution system on campus.
Electrical engineering, design, code review, and project management services extend to:
- Power distribution (normal, clean, UPS)
- Emergency power, generator installation and testing
- Telecommunications infrastructure
- Fire alarm and security
- Interior and architectural lighting
- Site and nightscape lighting
